Your role will be to prospect for new business, and by calling on customers on a regular basis and using your sales skills, you will be expected to develop and grow the existing customer base.
About half of the working day is spent on territory persuading prospects and lapsed customers to buy through cold calling face to face. Once new customers have been won, they are visited on a regular basis (Minimum every 5 weeks) to build loyalty and repeatable growth
The remainder of the day is spent visiting existing customers with an objective of increasing their monthly spend.
A major part of your responsibility is to keep up to date prospects and customers’ record cards detailing all your visits to them along with the maintenance of the Company’s data base as well as other company administrative requirements
